Update Regarding Non-English Music

First, we genuinely appreciate everyone who has submitted music to AIFR, regardless of the language it's in. We've received some great songs from artists around the world, and we appreciate you trusting AIFR with your music.

Going forward, however, AIFR will generally no longer accept songs that are entirely or predominantly in a language other than English.

AIFR is primarily an English-language radio station, and we want the music we broadcast to remain consistent with that. This doesn't mean every word of a song has to be English. We already play several songs that mix English with other languages, and multilingual songs are still welcome as long as English is a substantial part of the song.

Non-English songs that are already part of AIFR's library are not necessarily being removed. This change primarily applies to new submissions going forward.

This isn't meant as a judgment on music in other languages. It's simply about keeping AIFR focused on the audience and format the station was created for.
